Roughly 24-28 miles give or take easy pace with no support vehicle.\n  \nThe ride will leave Wersell’s Bike Shop @4pm venturing through some of Toledo’s bike trails & roads ending at the Hooves – Miles 2 Freedom ranch. Camping\, horse shoes\, bonfire\, pool\, bunkhouse if you prefer not to sleep in a tent and all the summertime vibes!\nNext morning\, ride back to the bike shop to end the journey!\n  \nWe are going to provide some grilled fare after ride. We are respectfully asking that no alcohol be permitted on\nHOOVES – Miles 2 Freedom property. Miles 2 Freedom aims to provide a healthy alternative for veterans to overcome substance abuse\, process trauma\, cope with stress\, connect to a like-minded community and build new skills.\n  \nThe price is $25 a rider with 100% of the proceeds going to HOOVES/M2F. Contest judging for crazy helmets\, decked out bikes\, and children parking lot art designs at 7:00 pm Opening ceremony at 7:15 pm Be ready to roll at 7:30 pm \nMercy Health\, Wersell’s Bike & Ski Shop\, Brightz Ltd.\, and Westgate Village have put together an amazing nighttime glow bike tour through West Toledo to support the Ovarian Cancer Connection! \nYou\, your family\, and friends are invited to ride the safe route that the Wersell team has developed. This will be a 10 – mile SLOW ROLL – not a race\, but a fun ride in the dark! \nWe will have Safety and Gear (SAG vehicles) on the route. Lights and bike helmets are strongly suggested. All riders must abide by traffic laws. A signed waiver of liability will be required. \nAll monies raised stay her in NW Ohio/Se Michigan to provide financial assistance to those ladies who need help. We provide gas cards to help get ladies to treatment. The festivities kick off at 5:30pm at Wersell’s Bike Shop. \nWe will have beer for sale for folks ages 21 and older\, the food truck We Be Ribs will be there and the Toledo Firefighters Pipes and Drums will be performing before we kick off the glow roll ride at 7:45pm. \nFor those that want to ride\, it will be an approximate 12 mile ride that will take about 1.5 hours. \nBikes 20″ and under will not be permitted.\nLights and helmet recommended. \nFor those that want to stay in the lot to eat\, drink and be merry\, you’re welcome!
