Contest judging for crazy helmets\, decked out bikes\, and children parking lot art designs at 7:00 pm Opening ceremony at 7:15 pm Be ready to roll at 7:30 pm \nMercy Health\, Wersell’s Bike & Ski Shop\, Brightz Ltd.\, and Westgate Village have put together an amazing nighttime glow bike tour through West Toledo to support the Ovarian Cancer Connection! \nYou\, your family\, and friends are invited to ride the safe route that the Wersell team has developed. This will be a 10 – mile SLOW ROLL – not a race\, but a fun ride in the dark! \nWe will have Safety and Gear (SAG vehicles) on the route. Lights and bike helmets are strongly suggested. All riders must abide by traffic laws. A signed waiver of liability will be required. \nAll monies raised stay her in NW Ohio/Se Michigan to provide financial assistance to those ladies who need help. We provide gas cards to help get ladies to treatment. The festivities kick off at 5:30pm at Wersell’s Bike Shop. \nWe will have beer for sale for folks ages 21 and older\, the food truck We Be Ribs will be there and the Toledo Firefighters Pipes and Drums will be performing before we kick off the glow roll ride at 7:45pm. \nFor those that want to ride\, it will be an approximate 12 mile ride that will take about 1.5 hours. \nBikes 20″ and under will not be permitted.\nLights and helmet recommended. \nFor those that want to stay in the lot to eat\, drink and be merry\, you’re welcome!

DESCRIPTION:Wersell’s Bike Shop and Patron Saints Brewery are teaming up to raise funds for the Police Unity Tour. TPD Officer Rob Szymanski will be riding in this year’s event which will honor Officer Anthony DIA. \nDonations are optional\, please come ride with us to show your support. Cash donations will be accepted prior to leaving for the bike ride or you can donate online at my.policeunitytour.com/robszymanski \nThe group will leave Patron Saints Brewery around 6:30 and roll down the trail to downtown Sylvania. Approx 7.5 miles each way at 10-11mph pace. You will have the option to stay in Sylvania for approx 90 min or take a 10 min break and ride back to the brewery. Route will be posted shortly. \nThe primary purpose of the Police Unity Tour is to raise awareness of Law Enforcement Officers who have died in the line of duty.
